Inter Miami is interested in signing Real Madrid player Luka Modric.
In July, Miami completed a big transfer coup by bringing Lionel Messi to big League Soccer.
Along with Messi, the Florida club signed Barcelona veterans Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.
Croatian media reports that they are hoping to get Modric to join Messi and co in the Sunshine State.
David Beckham, the club’s co-owner, is thought to be a major fan of the 38-year-old, who has won five Champions League championships and three LaLiga titles with Real Madrid.
Modric signed a new one-year contract in June, but his playing time has been reduced by the influx of fresh talent in Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield.
He has only started one league game this season, with the Italian manager relying on players like Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Federico Valverde.
Miami is second-to-last in the Eastern Conference heading into tonight’s game against Orlando City.
