La Liga’s official Instagram account made a daring remark, claiming that there isn’t much of a difference between Jude Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
The official account of the league uploaded photographs of both players enjoying their goals and contrasting their beginnings at the Santiago Bernabeu. They were full of admiration for Bellingham when he equaled Cristiano’s record of ten goals in ten games.
The tweet came just one day after Madrid great Guti said that Bellingham was vying for Messi and Ronaldo’s reign. On Chiringuito TV, he stated:
“Bellingham is having a fantastic season. It was the throne of Vinicius, Mbappe, Haaland… but Bellingham is the only one who has realized that Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo’s throne is free, and he intends to take it.”
Los Blancos fought out Liverpool and several Premier League teams to capture Borussia Dortmund’s Bellingham.
In international competition, Jude Bellingham aspires to be like Cristiano Ronaldo
This season, Jude Bellingham has been matching and beating Cristiano Ronaldo’s records at Real Madrid. He is now aiming to do the same with national records and to win big trophies with the Three Lions.
He said to Reach Football:
“To attempt to win big tournaments is my ambition for the next 12 months with the England team, and it will be for the next 10 to 15 years.”
“We should use our previous tournament experiences to push forward and bring some silverware home.” That is the shared aim we are working towards, and we are no longer scared to state it. In recent years, we’ve had to hide that expectation so that we don’t fail. We must be prepared to express it in order to accomplish it.”
This week, England will play an international friendly against Australia. When they face Italy in the EURO 2024 qualifier next week, they will face a rematch of the UEFA EURO 2020 final.
